A little note from us...
Son of a bun opened its doors in October 2015. Our vision back then remains the same today. To serve the best burgers possible, the burgers we had dreams about! We had travelled far and wide in order to find out what makes the perfect burger, it was then all about putting our love where our minds were at!
So with our mutual love of food and burgers Son of a Bun was born. We wanted to deliver the best ever burger, with great service, in the ultimate setting.
We now work hard to continue to do this every single day!
Our entire menu is homemade, from sauces to chicken wings, salads, and desserts, absolutely everything is prepped daily. Our signature brioche bun is baked fresh every morning and our meat is ground onsite daily using carefully selected cuts of Aberdeen Angus beef.
We have gone on to win best burger in Cork at the first ever burger festival in 2017 and then best burger in the whole of Ireland when the festival went nationwide in 2018.
Why we even had some extremely dedicated customers tattoo the co-ordinates of the restaurant on them so they’ll always find us!
People now travel far and wide to come to Son of a Bun and this makes us feel very proud.
